Challenge

The company’s business was upgrading their core banking system to adhere to new regulations and their customers were moving more to mobile transactions for their banking needs. The company needed to hit a defined deadline and they were currently trending behind to on-going Quality Issues. Omni was requested to perform a rapid assessment of their organization quality to identify improvement areas and deploy a team to enable them to meet their quality objectives as well as their regulation timeline.

Omni Solution

  • Prepared a project plan and schedule for the assessment. The assessment was based on ITIL, COBIT and other industry best practices.
  • Conducted the assessment through extensive interviews, evaluation of available documentation and review of closed and outstanding defects.
  • Performed a review of Development and Testing operations and service level metrics.
  • Analyzed available documentation, testing software, and processes to determine gaps for the company.
  • Prepared a get well plan and roadmap for testing, issue management, and process improvement to achieve defined goals
